The extra wide rails and extra long tension bands make it suitable for fat bikes among others and, due to the maximum payload of 60 kg, also for electric bikes.

The Alcor has a fold-down mechanism that allows full access to the car boot even when the bikes are mounted on the carrier. Integrated locks protect the carrier on the vehicle and the bikes on the frame from unwanted access.
This bike carrier is fitted with a 13-pin plug. Please note that, in some EU countries, a 13-pin electrical set is also required when using a bike carrier (for instance, in Germany and Austria).
