Product details

This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER III . The 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the frequency of the turn light indicator when a trailer light is not working.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER III with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER III installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER III. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hour(s). The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.

Carefully read the instructions of MITSUBISHI concerning retrofitting this Erich Jaeger wiring kit. Detailed information is available in your vehicle handbook.
