Rameder becomes market leader in the towbar market in Sweden through the acquisition of dragkrokskungen
25,000 towbars per year in Sweden
Rameder continues to strengthen its position as Europe's largest supplier of towbars and
continues this growth strategy by making a further acquisition.
In 2019 Rameder acquired the Swedish specialist for towbars BilX Nordic AB with its sales brands Dragkrokslagret.
With the current acquisition on 30.11.2020 of Supertrade Sweden AB with the brand Dragkrokskungen (https://dragkrokskungen.se), Rameder strengthens its position in Sweden and make the German company the swedish market leader in towbars.
"According to the figures available to us, we now expect to be able to sell a total of 25,000 towbars per year in Sweden," say Rameder managing directors Dirk Schöler and Stefan Bertelshofer. The Rameder group with headquarters in Thuringia distributes around 400,000 towbars throughout Europe per year and achieves a turnover of 120 million euros in 2020. The number of employees is now over 350 in six different countries. "We have been active on the Swedish market since 2015 with our own rameder brand and the online shop rameder.se. Due to both acquisitions, we are the market leader in Sweden as well" explain the Rameder managing directors.
"Together with our investor FSN Capital, we will continue to pursue this successful strategy in the future and continue to position and expand the company internationally", says the Rameder management team!
