This 7 pin wire kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS is produced by Trail-Tec for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
