This 13 pin electric wiring kit from Erich Jaeger is made specifically for your KIA NIRO I . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the KIA NIRO I. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

You could even turn off the parking assistance of your KIA NIRO I with a push on a dashboard button. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your KIA NIRO I. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit. The manufacturer Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
