Product details

The detachable bottom-mounted towbar from premium manufacturer Westfalia has been specially developed and produced for your vehicle. The Westfalia A40V automatic system is a bottom-mounted towbar system and the top product from Westfalia. The barely visible attachment to your vehicle is just as big a plus as the patented locking system of this bottom-mounted towbar in 1A Westfalia quality.

This anti-theft towbar comes with an integrated lock. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 1300 kg and a vertical load of 90 kg. Westfalia indicates a fatigue strength of 7.5 kN.

This towbar requires a cut in the lower part of the bumper. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions.

Additional installation instructions are available on the Rameder website. These will help reduce the installation time. The official installation guide is enclosed too. This towbar features a cathodic electro-dip coating. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. The result is effective corrosion protection combined with a high-quality smooth surface.

The towbar is suitable from ORGA No. 9929 onwards. You can find the number on an adhesive label and/or sign on the A or B pillar of your .
