Product details

The detachable bottom-mounted towbar from premium manufacturer Westfalia has been specially developed and produced for your vehicle. Westfalia A40V automatic system, a bottom-mounted towbar system. The A40V is Westfalia's bestseller. The system is attached to your vehicle almost invisibly. Another advantage of this bottom-mounted towbar is the patented locking system and you get 1A Westfalia quality.

This towbar can be secured against theft by an integrated lock. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 1800 kg and a vertical load of 100 kg. Westfalia submitted a fatigue value of 9.7 kN.

A small cut in the visible area of the bumper is needed to fit this towbar. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions. The cut-out can be concealed with a cover available from Rameder under "suitable accessories".

The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from Westfalia. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a smooth surface are the result.

Read and follow the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer when installing the hitch. Normally all information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
