Product details

The award-winning manufacturer Westfalia designs and manufactures this towbar specifically for your vehicle. The Westfalia A40V automatic system is a bottom-mounted towbar system and the top product from Westfalia. The barely visible attachment to your vehicle is just as big a plus as the patented locking system of this bottom-mounted towbar in 1A Westfalia quality.

This towbar can be secured against theft by an integrated lock. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 1200 kg and a vertical load of 50 kg. Westfalia submitted a fatigue value of 7.5 kN.

A small cut in the bumper is needed to fit this towbar. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions. In the "matching accessories" category, Rameder offers a cover that conceals the cut-out and is also available from your vehicle manufacturer.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer Westfalia. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a smooth surface are the result.
