Product details

The development and manufacture of the specific towbar for your vehicle has been taken over by the exclusive manufacturer Westfalia. Westfalia A40V automatic system, a bottom-mounted towbar system. The A40V is Westfalia's bestseller. The system is attached to your vehicle almost invisibly. Another advantage of this bottom-mounted towbar is the patented locking system and you get 1A Westfalia quality.

This anti-theft towbar comes with an integrated lock. Towing capacity up to 2200 kg and a vertical load of 90 kg characterize this towbar. Westfalia submitted a fatigue value of 11.3 kN.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions.

This towbar is designed to carry bicycle carriers. You can find offers for this in the "Bicycle carrier" category. This towbar from Westfalia is fitted as original equipment by your vehicle manufacturer and therefore meets the highest quality standards, guaranteed at the best price.

The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from Westfalia. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a smooth surface are the result.
