Product details

The 7 pole wiring kit especially for your vehicle is produced by the manufacturer ECS. This 7 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Once the wiring kit has been installed, the vehicle must be coded for trailer operation.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 7 pole data bus wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

The electrical set is suitable from ORGA no. 11557 onwards. You can find the number on an adhesive label and/or sign on the A or B pillar of your .
