Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. The user-friendly installation instructions, the high-quality, vehicle-specific plug connection and the cable lengths and colors matched to the vehicle are the most outstanding features of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).

In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
