The development and manufacture of the specific towbar for your vehicle has been taken over by the exclusive manufacturer Westfalia. The Westfalia A40V automatic system is a bottom-mounted towbar system and the top product from Westfalia. The barely visible attachment to your vehicle is just as big a plus as the patented locking system of this bottom-mounted towbar in 1A Westfalia quality.

Keeps thieves away! This towbar comes with an integrated lock. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 1200 kg and a vertical load of 55 kg. Westfalia indicates a fatigue strength of 7.7 kN.

A small cut in the bumper is needed to fit this towbar. There is an embossed line on the inside of the bumper, prepared by the manufacturer, for cutting out.

The detailed installation instructions from the manufacturer Westfalia are included with this product. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a high-quality smooth surface is the result.
