Product details

The 13 pole TowTec wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle.

The 13 pole relay electrical kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
