Product details

The detachable bottom-mounted towbar from premium manufacturer Westfalia has been specially developed and produced for your vehicle. Westfalia A40V automatic system, a bottom-mounted towbar system. The A40V is Westfalia's bestseller. The system is attached to your vehicle almost invisibly. Another advantage of this bottom-mounted towbar is the patented locking system and you get 1A Westfalia quality.

This towbar can be secured against theft by an integrated lock. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 2000 kg and a vertical load of 80 kg. A fatigue strength of 10.45 kN is listed for Westfalia.

A cut in the bumper is required to fit this towbar. The cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are included with the installation instructions.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer Westfalia. This towbar features a cathodic electro-dip coating. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. The result is effective corrosion protection combined with a high-quality smooth surface.
