This vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle is from the manufacturer ECS. This 7 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Attention! No coding of the vehicle is necessary for this wiring kit.

Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle.

To deactivate the rear fog light(s) of your vehicle when towing a trailer or using a bicycle carrier, you need the extension kit 135414 This accessory is necessary as the use of a bicycle carrier (load carrier) is not permitted according to StVZO §49a para. 9a if automatic deactivation of the rear fog light(s) is not supported.
