Product details

The award-winning manufacturer Westfalia designs and manufactures this towbar specifically for your vehicle. The positive features of this A40V bottom-mounted towbar are the 1A Westfalia quality, the patented locking system and the seemingly invisible attachment of the system to your vehicle. In addition, the Westfalia A40V automatic system is one of Westfalia's most popular bottom-mounted towbar systems.

This anti-theft towbar comes with an integrated lock. Towing capacity up to 2000 kg and a vertical load of 90 kg characterize this towbar. Westfalia submitted a fatigue value of 12.1 kN.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions. The cut-out can be concealed with a cover available from Rameder under "suitable accessories".

This towbar is designed to carry bicycle carriers. You can find offers for this in the "Bicycle carrier" category. We deliver this original part from Westfalia at the best price.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer Westfalia. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a smooth surface are the result.

Read and follow the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer when installing the hitch. Normally all information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
