Product details

From the manufacturer TowTec comes this specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle. Once the 7 pole wiring kit has been integrated into your vehicle's data bus system, it reliably indicates faulty trailer lighting using the vehicle's own system. After installing the wiring kit, the vehicle must be set to trailer operation.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 7 pole data bus wiring kit. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. To install this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose.
