Product details

The 13 pole ECS wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. The handling of this 13 pole wiring kit is extremely simple: It is recognized by the data bus system in your vehicle and is ready for use after coding the vehicle for trailer operation. From now on, the wiring kit will inform you via the vehicle's own system if the lighting on the trailer is faulty.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 13 pole data bus wiring kit. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle.

The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
