From the manufacturer Erich Jaeger comes this specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle. Once the 7 pole wiring kit has been integrated into your vehicle's data bus system, it reliably indicates faulty trailer lighting using the vehicle's own system. After installing the wiring kit, the vehicle must be set to trailer operation.
This 7 pole data bus electrical kit automatically regulates the deactivation of the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. A cable gland suitable for the vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring harness is already available on your vehicle. Therefore, you do not have to drill through the rear panel of your vehicle during installation. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
