Product details

Price-conscious drivers of your vehicle prefer the rigid towbar with the bolted ball head. It is manufactured by GDW and stands for long durability and an attractive price. With the System T48 towbar, GDW offers a classic hook for your vehicle that is as inexpensive as it is stable. Typical for rigid bolt-on towbars is the focus on good durability, even with excessive use.

The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 1900 kg and a vertical load of 120 kg. GDW submitted a fatigue value of 10.45 kN.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. There is an embossed line on the inside of the bumper, prepared by the manufacturer, for cutting out. You can fold the removable socket behind the bumper when the towbar is not in use.

The detailed installation instructions from the manufacturer GDW are included with this product. The product is dip-coated to increase weather resistance. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.

Your car's parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball. In reverse it could be recognized as an obstacle. Carefully read the instructions and specific indications of the vehicle manufacturer when fitting the towbar. Such information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
