Product details

Price-conscious drivers of your vehicle prefer the rigid towbar with the bolted ball head. It is manufactured by GDW and stands for long durability and an attractive price. The classic hook - stable and affordable - this is the rigid bolt-on GDW towbar, system T48 for your vehicle. As with all rigid towbars, the focus here is on extreme durability with frequent use.

This towbar has a towing capacity of up to 2100 kg and a vertical load of 110 kg. A fatigue strength of 11.5 kN is listed for GDW.

This towbar requires a cut in the lower part of the bumper. This cut will not be visible. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions. The removable socket can be folded behind the bumper when the towbar is not in use.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer GDW. The product is dip-coated to increase weather resistance. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.

Please read the instructions and specifications of the vehicle manufacturer when retrofitting a towbar. Normally such information can be found in your vehicle user manual. Your car's parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball. In reverse it could be recognized as an obstacle.
