Product details

This 13 pole wiring kit from ECS is supplied vehicle-specific for your vehicle. This 13 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Once the wiring kit has been installed, the vehicle must be coded for trailer operation.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 13 pole data bus wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

Pin 9 of the socket can be extended with steady plus by connecting the additional wire: 107650 to connect additional electrical consumers in your trailer.
