Product details

The simple lever mechanism of the GDW towbar, which is attached to your vehicle from the rear and is detachable, has already proven itself many times over. The GDW T38 is an affordable hand and lever system. The ball neck mount is attached to the base carrier of the GDW T38 with two screws.

Use accessory 218918 to protect the towbar against theft. Towing capacity up to 1600 kg and a vertical load of 75 kg characterize this towbar. A fatigue strength of 8.8 kN is listed for GDW.

A cut in the bumper is required to fit this towbar. The cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are included with the installation instructions.

The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from GDW. The product was dip-coated. During dip coating, towbars are dipped in a special, durable paint that protects against corrosion.
