Product details

The 7 pole wiring kit especially for your vehicle is produced by the manufacturer TowTec. The function of the trailer indicators is indicated to you with this 7 pole wiring harness via the vehicle's own trailer indicator light (C2) in the dashboard area. It is not necessary to have the trailer indicator light function activated on your vehicle.

We have a tip for you! To deactivate your vehicle's parking aid when towing a trailer, use the button on the dashboard. The user-friendly installation instructions, the high-quality, vehicle-specific plug connection and the cable lengths and colors matched to the vehicle are the most outstanding features of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. A cable gland suitable for the vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring harness is already available on your vehicle. Therefore, you do not have to drill through the rear panel of your vehicle during installation. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
