Product details

Your vehicle can be equipped with this detachable rear-mounted towbar from Kovil. This tried and tested model is produced with a simple lever mechanism.

Towing capacity up to 1500 kg and a vertical load of 75 kg characterize this towbar. A fatigue strength of 8.85 kN is listed for Kovil.

This towbar requires a cut in the lower part of the bumper. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions.

Tip: We recommend the use of a rigid or swivelling towbar or detachable automatic system if bike carriers will be used or high loads be pulled frequently.

The detailed installation instructions from the manufacturer Kovil are included with this product. A special paint coating protects the towbar against corrosion and environmental degradation.
