Product details

This rigid towbar with the bolted ball head for your vehicle is produced by the brand manufacturer GDW. Thanks to its durability and affordable price, this rigid towbar is the right choice for price-conscious or frequent users. The System T48 towbar from GDW was developed for your vehicle and is one of the rigid bolt-on towbars. This hook is inexpensive, stable and designed for a long service life with frequent use.

Towing capacity up to 1500 kg and a vertical load of 75 kg characterize this towbar. GDW submitted a fatigue value of 8.7 kN.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are included with the installation instructions. Fold the removable socket behind the bumper when you don't use the towbar.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer GDW. The product was dip-coated. During dip coating, towbars are dipped in a special, durable paint that protects against corrosion.

In reverse, the parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball of this rigid towbar. It could be recognized as an obstacle. Please read the instructions and specifications of the vehicle manufacturer when retrofitting a towbar. Normally such information can be found in your vehicle user manual.
