Product details

The 13 pole ECS wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. This 13 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Once the wiring kit has been installed, the vehicle must be coded for trailer operation.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 13 pole data bus wiring kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connections, adapted cable lengths and colors as well as detailed installation instructions are the hallmarks of this wiring kit. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
