We have a tip for you! To deactivate your vehicle's parking aid when towing a trailer, use the button on the dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connections, adapted cable lengths and colors as well as detailed installation instructions are the hallmarks of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. To install this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. Jaeger automotive specifies an installation time of 0.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
