The development and manufacture of the specific towbar for your vehicle has been taken over by the exclusive manufacturer Westfalia. The Westfalia A40V automatic system is a bottom-mounted towbar system and the top product from Westfalia. The barely visible attachment to your vehicle is just as big a plus as the patented locking system of this bottom-mounted towbar in 1A Westfalia quality.

This anti-theft towbar comes with an integrated lock. The raw facts: a towing capacity up to 1800 kg and a vertical load of 135 kg. A fatigue strength of 11.4 kN is listed for Westfalia.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions.

The detailed installation instructions from the manufacturer Westfalia are included with this product. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a smooth surface are the result.
