Price-conscious drivers of your vehicle prefer the rigid towbar with the bolted ball head. It is manufactured by GDW and stands for long durability and an attractive price. With the System T48 towbar, GDW offers a classic hook for your vehicle that is as inexpensive as it is stable. Typical for rigid bolt-on towbars is the focus on good durability, even with excessive use.

Towing capacity up to 1600 kg and a vertical load of 100 kg characterize this towbar. GDW submitted a fatigue value of 8.6 kN.

This towbar requires a cut in the lower part of the bumper. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions. Fold the removable socket behind the bumper when you don't use the towbar.

The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from GDW. The product is dip-coated to increase weather resistance. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.

In reverse, the parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball of this rigid towbar. It could be recognized as an obstacle. Carefully read the instructions and specific indications of the vehicle manufacturer when fitting the towbar. Such information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
