The 13 pole Erich Jaeger wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. This 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the blink frequency of the turn light control function when a trailer light is faulty.
Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to a steady plus function. And pin 10 can be used for trailer 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
