From the manufacturer TowTec comes this specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle. This 7 pin summer wiring kit will trigger a warning sound when a faulty trailer turn light is detected.
Extra tip from us: If you wish, you can switch off the parking aid from the dashboard of your vehicle using a button when towing a trailer. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. A cable gland suitable for the vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring harness is already available on your vehicle. Therefore, you do not have to drill through the rear panel of your vehicle during installation. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically switch off the fog lights.
