Product details

The 13 pole TowTec wiring kit is suitable for your vehicle. A defective trailer blinker is signaled to you by an acoustic warning tone with this 13 pole buzzer wiring harness. This wiring kit is supplied with a module to support the Checkcontrol function.

Extra tip from us: If you wish, you can switch off the parking aid from the dashboard of your vehicle using a button when towing a trailer. Vehicle-specific plugs are not included in this electrical kit. It is delivered with detailed assembly instructions. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation.

According to StVZO §49a para. 9a, the use of a bicycle carrier (load carrier) is not permitted if the rear fog light(s) are not switched off automatically. With the extension kit 190648, the rear fog light(s) of your vehicle can be switched off when towing a trailer or using a bicycle carrier.
