  • If coding is possible, however, there is the option to switch the electrical set to active mode at the touch of a button and then to code it so that the assistance systems are automatically switched off during towbar operation.

This vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle is from the manufacturer TowTec. This 7 pole wiring kit is simply installed into your vehicle's existing data bus system. If the trailer lighting is damaged, this is indicated via the vehicle's internal system. Manual coding is not required with this wiring kit.

We have a tip for you! To deactivate your vehicle's parking aid when towing a trailer, use the button on the dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connections, adapted cable lengths and colors as well as detailed installation instructions are the hallmarks of this wiring kit. To install this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
