Product details

This vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle is from the manufacturer ECS. This 7 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Attention! No coding of the vehicle is necessary for this wiring kit.

Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. To install this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose.

In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
