This 7 pin wiring kit for your FORD MONDEO IV Saloon is manufactured by TowTec for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your FORD MONDEO IV Saloon, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your FORD MONDEO IV Saloon is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed MONDEO IV Saloon MONDEO IV Saloon installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FORD MONDEO IV Saloon. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
