The manufacturer TowTec produces this 7-pin electrical kit for the BMW 7. This EU-version of this wiring kit will not control the trailer turn light function. This electrical set is delivered without a module for the indicator monitoring
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your BMW 7 with a push on a dashboard button. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1.5 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1 hours for installation.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
