The 13-pin TowTec electrical kit is suitable for the VW LT 40-55 I Platform/Chassis. This 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the blink frequency of the turn light control function when a trailer light is faulty.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your VW LT 40-55 I Platform/Chassis with a push on a dashboard button. This electrical kit includes detailed instructions for assembly. Vehicle-specific plugs are not part of the scope of delivery. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 128476 you can combine charging and steady plus.
