The adapter plate is suitable for towing hitches with mounted 2-hole flange ball if the hole spacing is 90 mm.
To install a 4-hole ball head or an open-end towbar, the adapter plate is required in addition. For towing hitches with a 2-hole flange ball, the adapter plate enables extension to the 4-hole pattern with dimensions 83 x 56 mm. The special feature of the adapter is that it is not installed behind the screw-on plate of the towing hitch, as is usually the case, but instead in front of it. The adapter can therefore be used also on towing hitches that have little clearance from the screw-on plate to the crossbar.
The adapter plate is not suitable for fitting interchangeable systems.
Fastening screws are included in the delivery of the adapter plate.
