This indestructible, bolted on AUTO-HAK towbar with bolted-on ball head provides robustness at a bargain price. It fits your KIA SPORTAGE III and is an inexpensive choice characterized by durability.
This towbar has a towing capacity of up to 2000 kg and a vertical load of 80 kg. AUTO-HAK submitted a fatigue value of 10.14 kN.
A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions.
Bike carriers can be securely fitted onto this KIA SPORTAGE III towbar.
The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from AUTO-HAK. This towbar is powder coated. During the coating process, a plastic powder coating is applied to the metal surface. The result is high durability coating with excellent protection against corrosion.
You can find out if the towbar, suitable as of chassis number U5Y... and up, is compatible by referring to the chassis number in the vehicle registration document under "E" or in the former vehicle identification document under number "4". A chassis number is issued to every vehicle by the KIA.
In reverse, the parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball of this rigid towbar. It could be recognized as an obstacle. Read and follow the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer when installing the hitch. Normally all information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
