Safe and easy to fit – the Antares 3 bike carrier
The Antares 3 is a modern, stable and safe bike carrier. The carrier can be easily mounted onto just about any towbar and can be folded up and stored in a way that takes up very little space when not in use. It is designed for a maximum load of 60 kg and can therefore also be used to transport e-bikes.
The Antares 3 is fitted using a tension lever, which fixes the carrier firmly to the vehicle once it has been tightened. The bikes are securely mounted in the wheel tracks thanks to the flexible frame holder on the mounting bracket and using the tensioning straps. The extra-long tensioning straps and wide rails also make it possible to transport fat bikes with wide tyres.
The Antares 3 has a fold-down mechanism with a foot pedal that allows access to the car boot even when bikes are mounted on the carrier. Integrated locks on the holding brackets and on the carrier itself secure the bikes and the carrier to the vehicle.
This bike carrier is fitted with a 13-pin plug. Please note that, in some EU countries, a 13-pin electrical set is a mandatory requirement when using a bike carrier (for instance, in Germany and Austria).
