  • Before a trailer coupling is added, the vehicle should be checked to determine whether it has been pre-fitted for operation of a trailer. We will be happy to check this for you on the basis of the chassis number.
  • it is possible that the engine cooling system of the vehicle is not equipped for operation of a trailer; in such cases it may be necessary to replace parts of the cooling system (e.g. fans)
  • we will be happy to to help you check whether your vehicle is adequately equipped. Please contact us and have your chassis number on hand
  • this wiring harness kit was developed for vehicles with no pre-equipment, but can also be used on vehicles with the 12-pin connector
  • if the vehicle is pre-equipped for the AHK, there will be an open 12-pin connector (in the boot behind the right-hand side panel)

The ball head can be simply removed and stored in the boot when it is not required.
