- The electrical set is delivered in passive mode. The assistance systems on the vehicle are not switched off in this case and coding is not required.
- If coding is possible, however, there is the option to switch the electrical set to active mode at the touch of a button and then to code it so that the assistance systems are automatically switched off during towbar operation.

The vehicle does not need to be inspected by an expert after the complete set has been installed. There is also no need for an entry in the vehicle documentation of your VW ID.3 . The instructions of the vehicle manufacturer in your vehicle user manual must be complied with.
