The BackCarrier forms the basic structure of the Back system – only for ORIS FIX4Bike towbars
But what exactly is the Back system? Firstly, the carrier module, the BackCarrier, is attached to the towbar. Various add-ons can then be attached to this carrier module:
BackPower: a bicycle carrier for 2 bikes that can be extended to up to 4 bikes
BackBox: a roof box at the rear whose width can be extended for transporting skis
BackPack: a versatile transport platform
A fold-down mechanism is integrated into the BackCarrier to provide you with convenient access to the car boot for all the Back-System products mentioned. You can fold down the respective attachment by simply pulling a lever horizontally.
It is important to note that the extended fold-down mechanism, as on a VW van or the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, is not possible with FIX4BIKE due to using the 2nd folding step!
