After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your TESLA MODEL Y is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed TESLA MODEL Y installation manual. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your TESLA MODEL Y . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
