This 13 pin electric wiring kit from ConWys is made specifically for your BMW X6 . This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the BMW X6. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your BMW X6 with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed BMW X6 installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW X6. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically turn off the fog lights.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
