This 13 pin ConWys wiring kit is made specifically for your KIA SORENTO IV. This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your KIA SORENTO IV . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. Attention! The vehicle does not require coding with this electrical kit.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your KIA SORENTO IV is supported by this 13 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your KIA SORENTO IV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
