This 13 pin ConWys wiring kit is made specifically for your AUDI Q5. This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the AUDI Q5. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your AUDI Q5 with a button on your dashboard. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed AUDI Q5 installation manual. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
