This 13-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the POLESTAR POLESTAR 4. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your POLESTAR POLESTAR 4 with a push on a dashboard button. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your POLESTAR POLESTAR 4. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
The trailer socket is connected with pin 9 for steady plus. Pin 10 can be used for 12 volt battery charging. This extension set is ideal to connect additional electric consumers (e.g interior lighting, refrigerator, radio) while simultaneously charging a 12 V battery in the trailer.
