This 7 pin wire kit for your PEUGEOT 407 SW is produced by ECS for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your PEUGEOT 407 SW and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

An automatic deactivation of the parking assist function of your PEUGEOT 407 SW is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PEUGEOT 407 SW. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. The manufacturer ECS specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
